I’m Jonathan, and I’ve been playing guitar and bass for over half of my life. For most of that time, I’ve had the pleasure of helping musicians understand more about the instruments they play.

Two key lessons that I have learned in my 16 plus years of playing have shaped the way I teach. The first is that playing in front of people is nerve-racking, no matter how long you’ve played. So I strive to make my lessons as comfortable and low pressure as possible.

The second is that the best way to grow as a musician, is to play with other musicians. So at Breakthrough Studios, we’ll strive to connect you with other musicians just like you, so that you can grow as a community.
